5 years ago Tom and I were married.
And then we snapped our fingers and it became today.
The years have gone by so fast, so happy, so good.
One of our friends, upon hearing we were approaching 5 years
(and she's been married the same length) asked:
"Doesn't it feel like forever?"
It doesn't.
I'm not one to be an open romantic
(it just makes people feel uncomfortable)
but on an anniversary,
even the best cynic must confess true love.
I'm Johanna and I'm a love-aholic.
I love my husband.
He is my best friend and lover.
And I can honestly say I love him more than I did 5 years ago.
So here's to us and the rest of our lives together.
